Rox Helper is a helper for Ragnarok X: it buys up diamonds on the market, catches fish, gathers plants, hunts MVPs and Minis and records market prices, while the browser tables work out what's more profitable. Here's what to do once, before any section, and how to read the program's journal.
Once, before you start
launchDouble-click rox_helper.exe. The program asks for administrator rights itself: Windows will ask «Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?» — click «Yes». With that, clicks and the hotkey reach the game, and professions and the price scanner can connect to it.
key⚙ Settings → «Product key» → paste it → «Activate». Needs internet. Active — a green dot in the top-left bar and «… days left».
characterLaunch the game and log in. The character appears top-left; if there are several game windows, pick the right one there.
hotkeyF8 — starts and stops it, works from inside the game too. A different key — ⚙ Settings → «Assign another».
How the program's window is laid out
There are four tabs: «Diamonds», «Professions», «MVP» and «Other» — the market scanner lives in «Other», next to the tables. Top left — the character and the key's time left; bottom left — the start button; on the right — the journal and the guide.
Key: term, one computer, connection to the server
- The key looks like this:
ROX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Case, spaces and hyphens don't matter. It's stored in config.json next to the program and survives replacing the exe.
- The term runs from activation: a 30-day key activated on October 1 at 15:00 works until October 31, 15:00. How much is left shows in the top-left bar; the line turns yellow 3 days before it ends.
- One key — one computer. On another one it's refused with «key is activated on another computer». Changed computers — message the seller and they'll move the key. Below the key field is «Computer ID»: give it to the seller if something's wrong.
- A red key line — the reason is written right in it, for example «key blocked — message the seller» or «key expired …».
Log: what the line colours mean
The log on the right of the program writes down everything it does and sees, and why it stopped. Above it, in large type, are the state and the session counter.
- green — it worked: bought, caught, gathered, recorded;
- yellow — a warning worth a look;
- red — a failure, the run has stopped;
- light blue — waiting: the program is busy or waiting on you;
- light red — do something by hand in the game.
A line can be selected and copied. Everything written stays in purchases.log next to the program.
What Windows asks when it starts
Every launch, Windows asks «Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?» — that's the administrator rights: click «Yes». «No» — the program won't start. The publisher shows as «unknown»: the program isn't signed with a certificate.
The blue «Windows protected your PC» window on first launch — More info → Run anyway. If an antivirus deleted the exe, add the program's folder to its exclusions and download the file again.
